Kindergarten registration on May 4
March, 2011
The Canajoharie Central School District will be
conducting Kindergarten screening and registration on Wednesday, May
4th, for children entering Kindergarten in September. It will take
place in the Library at the East Hill Elementary School.
New York State Education Law requires that every child entering
Kindergarten be screened for possible handicapping conditions which
may affect their education. For a child to enter Kindergarten in
September 2011, he or she must be at least five years old on or
before December 1, 2011.
Parents must bring to screening the child’s birth certificate, an
immunization record signed by a doctor, proof of residency and
completed entrance forms.
Parents of eligible students are requested to contact: Mrs. Sherri
Hodge at the East Hill Elementary School at 673-6310 to schedule an
appointment.
