Here is a message from Canajoharie CSD
Superintendent Richard Rose:
Dear Parents,
As you have probably heard, I will be retiring on December 1st of
this year. The Board of Education now has the task of recruiting my
successor. This is a process that will take several months, and will
conclude in September when the Board plans to appoint the next
Superintendent of Schools.
Dr. Patrick Michel, the District Superintendent of Schools for the
Hamilton Fulton Montgomery BOCES, will be conducting the search for
a suitable candidate and guiding the Board through this process. He
and the Board will meet with several different groups that make up
our school community to gather ideas, hear concerns, and listen to
various stakeholders as they voice their preferences for the type of
person who should be considered for the position.
He plans to meet with students, faculty, other employees, parents,
and community members. Dr. Michel will be moderating a meeting with
parents and community members on Thursday evening, April 7, at 7
p.m., in the high school cafeteria.
Please come to this important meeting. Your input is critical to
this process. It is only through the participation of many that the
collective wisdom of the community can prevail.
Sincerely,
Richard G. Rose
