Canajoharie High School is proud to announce its
valedictorian and salutatorian for the class of 2011. Genevieve
Trahan is the valedictorian with an average of 97.06 and Kelsey Aldi
is the salutatorian with an average of 94.95.
“We’re very proud of their accomplishments and hard work,” said
Canajoharie High School Principal David Barnes. “They exemplify the
types of attributes we like to see in our students.”
Genevieve, the daughter of Eric and Lisa Trahan, plans to attend
Colgate in the fall in major in either biology or foreign language.
She attributes her good grades to good grades and a supportive
family.
In May, she was named to the 2011 Scholars’ Recognition Program. The
Scholars’ Recognition Program honors the outstanding scholastic
achievement of member of the graduating classes of public, private
and parochial schools in the Capital District area
Kelsey, the daughter of James and Susan Aldi, plans to attend
Nazareth College in the fall and major in physical therapy. She said
she’s proud of her accomplishments in high school.
“It’s a big accomplishment and it reflects the work and effort I’ve
put into school for the past four years,” she said.
