Voters overwhelmingly approve EXCEL referendum

Canajoharie School District voters went to the polls on Tuesday, March 6 approving a referendum that enables the district to complete $9,879,215 in repairs and renovations to district facilities. The final tally was 164 yes to 26 no votes. The referendum called for the use of special funding from New York State called EXCEL (Expanding our Children's Learning and Education) aid to fund the local share of the project.
