Canajoharie High School is a comprehensive public high school serving Canajoharie, Palatine
Bridge, Sprakers, Ames, Rural Grove and portions of Fort Plain New York. Here are some fast facts:

• High school enrollment in 2010-2011 is approximately 370 students.

• The school offers state-of-the-art science labs, art and music studios, computer labs, athletic facilities and other
  resources.

• Canajoharie High School utilizes an innovative modified block schedule offering students up to
  eight classes a day lasting either 45 or 60 minutes.

Rank in class is determined by a specific formula weighting courses as follows:

• AP & A (accelerated and honors): 2 times final
  average

• R (Regents/college prep): 1.5 times final average

• G (general and nonacademic): Final average

Average

• Courses are not weighted when computing GPA.

Grading

• Grades are issued on a numerical basis. Grades below 65 are considered failing.
